McKay Bay Lodge is located in West Bamfield on the West Coast of picturesque Vancouver Island, British Columbia. We offer comfortable accommodations in a family owned and operated lodge with delicious homemade cooking that will energize you all day long, whether you decide to spend the day fishing the wild waters of our West Coast, or hike through the rain forests that attract people from all over the world.

If you are planning your next weekend getaway or a vacation that you will remember for years, McKay Bay Lodge is a choice you'll never regret. Our guests enjoy the beauty that the West Coast offers when they arrive. To get here you can drive on the well maintained road that winds through the rain forest valleys and coast . Or, bring your own vessel right up to our docks, we have plenty of moorage space. The MV Francis Barkley brings our guests from Port Alberni,  some even enjoy the sights from the eagles viewpoint as they arrive on one of the many floatplane operators that serve Bamfield and also park in our front yard.

The Pacific Ocean offers our visitors the majestic Grey, Humpback and Killer Whales as companions on their trips. The Salmon in these waters are some of the largest in the world and they will put up a good fight, memories you can keep forever.
